                              A famous fort, on the shore of Malvan town of Sindhudurg district in the Konkan region of  Maharashtra, south of Mumbai, has immense historical significance as it’s a symbol of the Great Maratha King Shivaji’s battle for Swarajya. Today the fort is a popular summer destination for tourists to explore the island and go scuba-diving and snorkelling to view the coral reef on the outskirts of the island.

                              Malvan boasts of some scenic as well as serene beaches such as Tarkarli, Chiwla, Devbag, Kolamb etc in close proximity that provide various holiday options. Tsunami Island (near devbaug beach) is a popular tourist destination for water sports where one can enjoy rides like Jet-Ski, Banana boat ride, Bumper boat, Kayaks etc.

                              The Rock garden is situated near the Arase Mahal and on the rocky shore of Malvan.This beautifully maintained garden is close to the sea, overlooking the Chiwla beach with colorful and decorative flowers and trees.

                              Amboli is a hill station in south Maharashtra, India known for it’s natural surroundings and unique variety of flora and fauna. The main attraction for tourists is the incredibly high rainfall and the numerous waterfalls and mist during the monsoons.

                              Sawantvadi, is becoming a major tourist attraction. Some of the popular places to see are Moti Talao, Raghunath Market, Kolgaon Archway, a water reservoir called Atmeshwar Tali and Narendra Garden on top of Narendra Hill from where you can get a nice view of Vengurla beaches.

                              Jai Ganesh Temple is believed to have been established by Jayantrao Salgaonkar, an astrologer and creator of the almanac, ‘Kalnirnay’. The idol of Lord Ganesha is installed in the traditional position,along with his consorts, Riddhi-Siddhi, standing on either side. Ganesh Jayanti, celebrated on the 4th day of Magh month, is the main festival celebrated here, for 5 days.

                              Goa is very accessible from the resort. Famous for its beaches such as Candolim, Miramar,Majorda, Mobor, Colva, Anjuna etc and other historical places like churches and forts like Aguada Fort, Goa is the ultimate tourist destination.
